Accounting needs have change drastically over the past few years. Cloud accounting gives business owners the ability to view business activities in real time. Programs like QuickBooks Online allow business owners the ability to access the accounting data 24/7 from anywhere.
How do remote accounting services work?
At Canada Cloud Accounting we use extra SaaS (monthly subscription programs such as DEXT, HubDoc and Auto Entry) programs to send and store digital documents. These programs memorize categories and tax rates. Location and class can also be assigned to transactions.
Documents are scanned and uploaded into one of the document management programs, where Canada Cloud Accounting will review each transaction and attach the source document into the accounting software. This process aids in year-end preparation and audit compliance. You no longer need hunt through dusty old papers for proof anymore.
What kind of documents do you need?
We require monthly bank statements for all account including credit cards. We also require all receipts from purchases and transfers. Having all these documents reduces the amount of questions and serves as a digital filing cabinet for your office.
